How do I hand wash my item? Most of our accessories are made with wool yarns. Much of the yarn used contains super wash merino wool, which can technically be run through the washer. IF you choose to machine wash, be sure to wash in cool water on a gentle cycle. DO NOT dry in the dryer. Wool can felt (shrink and lose definition) during washing and drying if it is handled too roughly when wet.
To hand wash, use cool to lukewarm water - NEVER hot water - fill a clean sink, tub, or container, with the water and add a little bit of shampoo or gentle soap, or a wool wash (such as Eucalan or SOAK). Dunk the item into the water and lightly push it in - and leave to soak for at least 15 minutes. If you use a shampoo or soap, you will need to rinse it out - if you use a wool wash, check the instructions, many do not need to be rinsed out. Remove item from water and lightly squeeze out some of the water. Lay out on a towel or surface flat to dry out. Most items will be fine to do this without pinning them down, but if you notice any rolled edges or the like, you may want to pin the edge down so it lays flat when it dries.
Items such as cowls and scarves do not require a lot of washing.
Baby blankets are usually made with acrylic or cotton yarns and can be fully machine washed and dried.

Shipping? Is free across the US. Most items will ship in poly bags to reduce on package waste, but also to provide protection from the elements as they are fabric.
