Honeycomb Trellis Crocheted Cowl in Soft Earth Tones

Achieve chic style and function with this one of a kind crocheted cowl!

This beautiful and lacy crocheted cowl is a blend of soft blues, greens and yellows.

I photographed it in natural light and think the color has come through fairly true. Please note there may be some tonal differences in real life.

This cowl is a wholly unique item, handmade by me out of high quality yarn from an independent dyer. In this case, the dyer is Whot Knot out of Australia, and this particular color way was called “Don’t Fear the Wild”.

The yarn is a fingering weight, sock yarn, which means it is 85% wool (super wash merino) & 15% nylon-which adds durability.

This cowl is about 16” tall with about a 28” circumference.

I went with an open stitch to achieve a lighter and airier cowl for wear in the warmer seasons. It can be used more like a chunky necklace as a colorful accessory. Although, depending on where you live, you may appreciate a little wool around your neck even in the middle of summer. As you can see by the small sample in the photos, you can drape it in a variety of ways.

The cowl will come prewashed, and comes from a smoke free home with dogs.

Care Instructions: best to hand wash, but it could be washed in a cold water, gentle setting in the washer, and should always be laid flat to dry, NEVER dried in the dryer.
