Lacy Fan and Trellis Stitch Crochet Cowl / Infinity Scarf

$70.00

This beautiful, softly colored, ultra lacy, cowl is a more tubular shape than I normally create. This feature makes for a cowl that could also be used as a head cover, with plenty of length to both cover your head and still keep your neck toasty!

The base color is a very soft pastel bluey/green with bright pops of pink, blue, yellow and more. I photographed it in natural light and think the color has come through pretty true in the three pictures of the cowl on the dress model. But please note there may be some slight tonal differences in real life. The other picture is for a close up of the pattern and it came out a bit dark. The last picture is from the yarn dyer’s website and also provides a good look at the true color.

This cowl is a wholly unique item, handmade by me out of high quality yarn, from an independent dyer. In this case, the dyer is Chelsea Yarns out of Red Bank, NJ. The yarn is a fingering weight, sock yarn, 80% wool (super wash merino) & 20% nylon-which adds durability.

I used the One Love Shawl pattern from Little Monkey Designs and lightly altered it to create a cowl instead of a shawl.

This cowl is about 18” tall with about a 24” circumference. The weight and yarn content make for a cowl with a lovely drape that will keep you warm snuggled against your neck, or it could be used as an accessory to enhance an outfit.

The cowl will come prewashed, and comes from a smoke free home with dogs.

Care instructions: best to hand wash, but it could be washed in a cold water, gentle setting in the washer, and should always be laid flat to dry, NEVER dried in the dryer.
